Wire frames made out of thin iron are clothed with fine paper allowing transparency.
The structure a line drawing realized in metal. Light penetrates revealing the partially hidden structure enclosed within. Organic hollow forms reminiscent of cocoons, capsules, pods; incubators, protectors and carriers of life.
These vessels are empty with openings on either ends. Focusing on both form and surface by changing the sizes of the circumferences, the twisting movement of the torsos was achieved within the skeletal structures.
While forms grew longer and thinner, more of the structure was revealed. Different types of paper and methods of applying the skins created textures. Inserting additional structure to the existing skeletons I experimented with spacing, transparency and complete exposure.
